World Yoga Council ® Vishwa Yoga Samsad was founded in1980
by Bhagavan Krishna Kisore Das (New Delhi - India) under
the umbrela of Vishwa Unnyayan Samsad. In 1989 the council become part of
International Yoga Federation. The World Council of Yoga have different
yoga masters from all the traditions and lineages of yoga. All the methods,
branches and styles of yoga have one guru, yogacharya (yoga master) or senior
yoga teacher in the World Council of Yoga. The Council have meetings every
two years.
