The World Wide Parliament of Yoga (Vishwa Yoga Samaj) was founded at India in 1983. The first president was Gitananda 1983-1993, the second was Yogavatar Krishna Kisore Das 1993 -1997.
From 1998 the Parliament was democratic yoga body with the presidents of all not sectarian Continental Yoga Organisations and lasrgest International Yoga Organisation.
